"But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish in order that I may gain Christ...

...and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own, derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith...

To COMMIT Club Members: We believe it’s so important for you to read and memorize the Bible that we’re offering rewards for you to do it!
For those who would like to participate, every time you read a chapter of the Bible or memorize a verse of the Bible, write it down along with the date on the appropriate log. Recite to a parent the verses you memorize, and tell a parent something you learned in each chapter you read. Before each COMMIT Club meeting, have that parent sign your logs; then turn them in at COMMIT Club to receive your prizes! Each verse you memorize and each chapter you read counts as one point, and you receive a prize for every ten points you earn.
If you’d like to help make prizes, create small, pretty items, such as bookmarks, that include a Bible verse, and bring them to a COMMIT Club meeting. You could use stamping, stenciling, markers, pencils, crayons, specialty scissors, or any other art form. Thank you for your help in rewarding the study of Scripture!
Whether or not you participate in our system of rewards, we pray that you will obey what God commands in II Timothy 2:15: "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth."
To motivate consistency in your personal devotions, we've developed the following Logs of Daily Time with the Lord. They are not to be turned in at COMMIT Club, but are simply for your own use.
Anyone is welcome to use the forms on this page, but only COMMIT Club members will earn prizes for the completion of Reading and Memorizing Logs.
