COMMIT Club
"But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish in order that I may gain Christ...

...and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own, derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith...

Greetings in Jesus' name from the Malone Family! Our vision in hosting this COMMIT Club is to serve parents by supplementing the training they give their daughters in their home. In the monthly Club meetings, we present Biblical principles and their applications to young ladies' lives, using stories, testimonies, illustrations, and object lessons; and we hope that fellowship with other young ladies will also prove to be an encouragement to the club members.
COMMIT stands for Cultivating Obedience, Ministering Mercy, Internalizing Truth. The goal of the COMMIT ministry is to inspire young ladies to pursue a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, to embrace their amazing calling as servants of God, and to make Godly commitments before facing the pressures of young adulthood. Meeting location: Malone Home, 10904 D-K Ranch Rd. in Austin, Texas
From highway 183, exit and go west on Spicewood Springs Road for 1.1 mile. At the end of the school football fields on the right, turn left onto Texas Plume. Go up the hill to the first stop sign, and the home is on the corner on the near right, with a large circle driveway.
Meeting Time: 9:30 a.m. on certain Saturday mornings
Please arrive early to greet friends and be in place by 9:30. Between 11:00 and 11:30, we will transition into a light lunch, and participants are welcome to stay as long as they would like.
Who should attend: Young ladies ages 11-15 and older
The specific applications of Biblical principles presented in the Club will be tailored to the needs of 11-15-year-old young ladies. However, since the principles apply to everyone, we welcome women of all ages into the Club. We especially encourage mothers to attend with their daughters, in order to participate in their daughters' training. Though we don't recommend the club for girls under age 11, mothers are welcome to bring younger girls and babies if necessary, as long as they do not become an undue distraction to other attendees.
